Philly’s Matinee Dance Party is Headed Down the Shore to Memories in Margate, Offering a 6 pm-10 pm Party
Want to step out for a dance party but don’t want to be out all night long? Well, there’s a party that promises that you’ll be home by 11 pm and offers plenty of throwback vibes with great music and mature crowds.
The Matinee Dance Party which took Vinyl by storm is now headed down the shore and will be hosting parties at Memories in Margate (9518 Amherst Ave.) in Margate throughout the summer with the kick-off party taking place Sunday June 22nd.
Featuring sounds by nightlight legend Eddie Tully and emceed by Wooder Ice’s own Jay the Gentleman, the Matinee Dance Party offers partygoers the enjoyment of nightlife without having to stay out to 2 am.
“DJ Eddie Tully will be spinning throwback sets featuring everything from disco to 00’s hip hop, 80’s pop, to karaoke favorites,—so everyone from Gen X, older millennials, to late millennials can groove together,” organizers stated.
Guests can expect food and drink specials, nostalgic DJ sets, and their signature offerings of complimentary pizza.
“We felt that bringing MDP down the shore made perfect sense considering the club goers our party brings, where they usually go during the summer, and the vibe Memories brings every night. It was the perfect fit,” stated emcee Jay the Gentleman.
Tickets to the Matinee Dance Party at Memories in Margate are available on Eventbrite.
